ST. LOUIS, Mo, JUNE 2014 - Emerson's McGill Manufacturing Company will exhibit a broad range of bearing solutions and roller sets for aerospace applications during the 2014 Farnborough Airshow, July 14-20 in Hampshire, England. The company's specialty bearings, including ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, spherical roller bearings and roller sets, will be featured in Hall 3, Stand A11a throughout the weeklong show.
McGill products are used worldwide in commercial and military flight-critical applications, such as helicopter and turboprop gearboxes, helicopter rotors, generators, hydraulic pumps, engine starters and APU's. As a solutions-oriented company, McGill uses advanced engineering and manufacturing tools to design next-generation bearings, reduce part weight, increase reliability, consolidate part counts and cut delivery times.
McGill's aerospace bearing facility is accredited by the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (Nadcap) for heat-treating, chemical processing and nondestructive testing. In addition, McGill's facility is AS 9100 / ISO 9000 certified, which is recognized worldwide as an official measure of quality and credibility in the industry.
“Few companies can manufacture such a broad range of specialty bearings for the aerospace industry,” said Jim Hoshiko, Director of Marketing, McGill Aerospace & Extra Precision Products. “Emerson's made-to-order manufacturing capabilities, quick turnaround and the quality assurance derived from the Nadcap accreditation make McGill bearings a top choice of OEMs worldwide.”
