Unmounted Bearings

Our MCGILL and ROLLWAY unmounted bearing brands each have acquired more than 100 years of bearing industry experience. The MCGILL® branded product offerings include CAMROL®, TRAKROL®, CAGEROL®, GUIDEROL®, and SPHERE-ROL® bearings. They provide solutions for a wide variety of industry applications.

The Rollway® brand of bearings come in many varieties in radial and thrust designs, including:

• Cylindrical Roller Bearings
• Tapered Roller Bearings
• Spherical Roller Bearings

Cam follower bearings provide an antifriction solution for translating rotation to linear motion or supporting either pure radial or combination thrust loads depending on the rolling elements types.
Cylindrical Roller refers to the rolling unit. In this case, Cylindrical Roller type bearing in either Radial or Thrust style bearings.
Needle Roller Bearings are very similar to Cylindrical Roller Bearings. The main difference is the length to width ratio of the rolling elements. This allows a higher load capacity in a similar sized envelope.
Radial ball bearings consist of an inner and outer ring with a retainer that contains a number of precision balls.
Unmounted bearing assembly of through-hardened inner and outer raceways with single or double spherical rolling elements. These are separated by a steel or brass retainer and are available with several sealing options.
Tapered Roller bearings have the same standard features as the cylindrical bearings. The difference is found in the rolling elements in Radial or Thrust style bearings.
